The church has long been believed to be a sacred place where people go to worship God, through thanksgiving, praise and seeking forgiveness. However, this belief was recently challenged by an incident in Kirinyaga county, Gatwe area.

During the incident, the church's watchman was injured as the thieves fled the scene.
Many people act without thinking of the consequences. Stealing from a church is more than just a crime, it carries a spiritual curse that can affect not just the individual, but their entire lineage. Why should innocent children or even parents suffer for someone else's actions? The weight of such a curse can carry on for generations.

Before you do something, think carefully. God created us to worship Him, and everyday we wake up is a new opportunity to turn back to Him. We should be grateful for that grace.
When churches reach the point of having to hire guards to protect sacred spaces, it's a clear sign of how far we've strayed. As a society, we need to turn to God and seek forgiveness before things get worse.
